Certifications


CG Forge offers various certifications (Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced) that highlight your accomplishments.
To earn a certification, you will need to enroll to CG Forge courses, schedule one-on-one sessions with your instructor, and submit work that highlights your accomplishments.  Scroll down on this page to learn more about the requirements for each type of certification.

Houdini Fundamentals Certification

This certification is for beginners looking for an ideal path to getting started in Houdini.

Requirements:

You must complete the following courses:

⦁ Course exercises must be completed and submitted for review.
⦁ At least one project needs to be fully rendered.
⦁ The rendered project must include something that was not part of the original course. For example, you can choose different lights, shaders, models, or fx elements to make it different from the original course.
⦁ You must be enrolled to CG Forge for at least 4 months -- OR -- you must purchase the necessary courses at a flat price.
⦁ You must schedule at least two one-on-one sessions through CG Forge Academy.

Houdini Specialist Certification

This certification is ideal for intermediate artists interested in taking things beyond the basics.

Requirements:

You must complete the following courses:


⦁  You must schedule at least four one-on-one sessions through CG Forge Academy.
⦁  You must have at least three projects rendered.
⦁  The rendered projects must include something that was not part of the original course. For example, you can choose different lights, shaders, models, or fx elements that make it different from the original course.
⦁ You must be enrolled to CG Forge for at least 4 months -- OR -- you must purchase the necessary courses at a flat price.

Houdini Mastery Certification

This certification is ideal for artists who are ready to create professional-grade work

Requirements:

You must complete the following courses:


⦁ You must complete a mentorship through CG Forge Academy -- OR -- Schedule at least 8 sessions through CG Forge Academy
⦁ You must submit a demo reel containing at least one completed personal project, one advanced CG Forge course, and one other project of your choice. 
⦁  The CG Forge course cannot be a direct replica of the original course.  You will need to do something to make it your own by changing the models, lights, shaders, and various fx elements in a way that goes beyond the original course.
