"Why is Houdini Hard to Learn?"
In the first week, we explore where users go wrong when learning Houdini and how to avoid the pitfalls.
Exploring Houdini For the New Artist I
It's important for everyone to have a workflow that allows an A --> Z approach to rendering. We'll do exactly that using Houdini 21 and CG Forge's free, flagship intro course: Houdini for the New Artist
Bonus Exercises
Attendees will have access to bonus scene file exercises in addition to the exercises provided by Houdini for the New Artist I.

FAQ
"What's the Catch?"
The catch is that the content on CG Forge is ideal for new users that want to learn Houdini. Our hope is that you'll enjoy the boot camp and choose to be a part of the CG Forge community if you've never done so.
However, it is not mandatory to be CG Forge subscriber in order to enjoy the boot camp. You'll still get free exercises, beginner-oriented lectures, Q&A, goals for study topics each week, and everything else listed above.

"Will the Recordings Be Available After the Live Sessions Have Concluded?"
Replays will be available on this page each week. However, it will take some time to process the videos and upload. In addition, you'll need to attend the live events if you'd like access to the bonus exercises and Q&A. If you happen to miss a live event, you can email support@cgforge.com for the exercise files of that week. After the boot camp has concluded, videos will be archived for subscribers only.
"What do I do if I lost the zoom link?"
If you registered using the forum above, then you ought to see an email come through that includes a zoom link and calendar invitation. This email will be sent shortly before the boot camp begins. If you don't see it in your inbox, check your spam.
"I've already done a few courses, will this workshop be too easy?"
If you've only been studying Houdini for a few months or less, then you're likely a beginner and could benefit from refreshing your knowledge. You might also be surprised at a few weak areas in your skills that we'll be addressing throughout the workshop. It's totally free, so give it a try!
"Is it too late to join if I missed the first session?"
Nope! Just watch the replay if you'd like (that can be found above on this webpage) and sign up to the form above. Then, you join in on our next zoom call. E-mails are generated manually, so be on the lookout for one before the next session starts.
Will I get help throughout the week if I get stuck?
Absolutely - you can join the CG Discord and ask questions any time → https://discord.gg/wtsfP6NF8U
