About This Course

Conquer the Beginner's Learning Curve

Houdini for the New Artist II is the ideal course to help you develop your skills past a beginner level.  Moving beyond the beginner level means that you'll be able to think independently (without always relying on copying tutorials) and understand what it takes to make awesome, professional looking renders.

Here's the main challenge this course addresses: "How do you take an real project from A --> Z in Houdini?"  Most beginners don't have a great idea on how to take a full sequence from start to finish, and this course is here to address that.

Additionally, Houdini for the New Artist II covers a variety of topics that everyone ought to know about.  Topics like instancing, shading, rendering, lighting, simulations, and more are covered to help you become a well-rounded Houdini artist.  By the end of it, you'll be able to explore any other topic much more easily.

It's a massive course that's jam packed with lots of great information, and help will be there if you need it.  Just check out the course forums, mentorship calls, and/or the discord channel which are checked daily for anything you need along the way.  If you have any other questions, you can also email directly at support@cgforge.com
